Miami, Florida/ Boston, July 23, 2007 – At the NBTA convention, PASS Consulting Corporation and Portaga Inc. announced the operational implementation of the Portaga Travel Manager, which is based on technology developed by PASS. Portaga provides small and medium-sized companies with a desktop application for travel management which is integrated in Microsoft Outlook. This application interacts with the e-mail, calendar and billing functions, so that employees can easily organize and book their business travel in their accustomed work environment. Portaga also provides a professional booking solution for travel management companies. Thanks to the collaboration with PASS, which provided the interfaces to the various global distribution systems (GDSs), Portaga users can access the content of these GDSs. In addition, the Portaga agency system utilizes the PASS front-end booking tool known as the Virtual Travel Organizer (VTO). PASS’ partner Farelogix provides the distribution management. |
